About Our Pastors:

Pastors Mark and Cheryl Roberson have been in the ministry for over 26 years. They have committed themselves to see people set free from the yoke of bondage; to bring healing to the sick; to cause finances to come to those in need; to bring God’s compassionate love to the broken-hearted; and to bring men, women and children to the knowledge of the Truth, so they may come from religion to reality - from milk to meat - and from captivity to total freedom. They believe that all it takes is One Word from God and you will never be the same again!

Pastor Mark has authored three books. He’s originally from Corpus Christi, Texas, where he was born and raised. His ministry began in Fort Worth, Texas where he served as an associate minister under the leadership of Pastor Henry Henderson, who pastored Forest Hill COGIC at that time. Then Pastor Mark served as an assistant pastor for 3 years in Everman, Texas under the leadership of Pastor Robert Holbert Jr., who pastored Sozo Family Church. Pastor Mark also operated in the evangelistic field ministry as an itinerant minister, conducting Word Explosion Campmeetings and Word Explosion Revivals.

Pastor Mark is a devoted husband and father. Pastors Mark and Cheryl have been married over 27 years. Pastor Cheryl wholly supports her husband in the ministry, as she stands by his side. They both dedicated their lives to the Lord just before they were married. They believed that the only way their family would work is by giving their family to God, but first, they gave themselves! They have 3 lovely children: LaTriece, Annette and Mark Jr. and four grandchildren. All 3 children in some form or another has participated in helping in the ministry.

God has used Pastor Mark’s family relationship to reveal to him many spiritual truths. He views pastoring as a family affair. Through being a husband and a father, God has taught Pastor Mark humility, patience, understanding and love; all of which are characteristics for pressing more into God! Pastor Mark has a hunger for more of God and for more of the things of God! This is the number one thing he has purposed to impart to the congregation of Faith Word Fellowship, because if God can get it through you, He can get it to you!

Pastor Mark operates in the ministry office of a Teacher. He teaches the uncompromising Word of God with God’s ability, God’s weight, God’s authority, and God’s power. His down-to-earth approach and practical illustrations clearly present the truths of God’s Word. He shares from practical, first-hand experience how Christians can apply God’s Word to the circumstances and problems of life and walk in victory.

Pastor Cheryl believes in being real with God. She assists her husband in training men, women and children to flow with the Holy Ghost and walk in the authority Jesus delegated to the Church. She helps Faith Word Fellowship be a “new-level” church that challenges and pushes believers to go to a new level in God! God gave Cheryl the name of the church and the church theme: Faith Word Fellowship, “where faith in the Word leads to a more intimate fellowship with God.”
Since they believe in family relationships so strongly, they also want to give honor to their own parents. Pastor Mark honors his father and mother: John and Barbara Roberson. And Pastor Cheryl thanks God for her parents: Rayford and Lois Johnson.
